How to Adjust Your Training Days

Change which days you run so the plan fits your schedule.

You're in Charge of Your Schedule

When you set up Just5K, you chose which days of the week you want to train. Life changes — maybe you started with Monday-Wednesday-Friday and now Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday works better. You can update your training days anytime.

How to Change Them

  1. Open Just5K and go to Settings (or Plan → settings / edit).
  2. Find Training days or Your schedule.
  3. Tap the days you want to train. Typically that's three days per week with rest in between — the app may suggest this when you tap.
  4. Save. Your plan will shift so your next workout lands on one of your new days.

Your existing progress stays. The app doesn't delete completed workouts or reset your week; it just moves upcoming sessions to match your new schedule.

What to Keep in Mind

Rest between runs. Try to avoid back-to-back run days, especially as a beginner. Your body gets stronger on rest days. If you pick three days in a row, the app may warn you or suggest spacing them out.

Consistency beats perfection. It's better to stick with the same three days most weeks than to change them every few days. If you need to change once because of a trip or a busy week, that's fine — adjust, then try to settle back into a rhythm.

Tip: Can't train on a planned day? Skip it and do the next workout when you can. The plan adapts. You don't have to change your training days every time life gets in the way.
